they have drawn men to unknown lands that proved both hostile and generous.
In this voyage through time and space, experience the epic story of the pioneers and the treasures they brought back!

Aims : See how plants have travelled
Target audience: primary and lower-secondary
- Understand why scientific explorations were so important. Situate the great discoveries (from the 18th century onwards) in time.
- Learn about the main explorers, their destinations and the conditions in which they travelled.
- Learn about and understand the means used to make these long trips and transport plants.
- "Rediscover" the plants brought back (spices, vegetables, fruit, flowers, etc.) and their origins.
- Explain how the discoveries were disseminated after their return (trading posts, zoological gardens, botanical gardens) and used.
